Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated lawyer eager to join a fast paced and busy law firm, focusing primarily in the areas of litigation and family law, serving Lindsay, Peterborough and surrounding areas.
We offer one of the largest and most accomplished litigation and dispute resolution teams in the area, offering services in:
- family law litigation (custody, access, property, support, special claims)
- domestic contracts
- collaborative family law
- family law mediation/arbitration
Qualifications and Skills:
This opportunity is most suited for lawyers with 2 to 3 years of family law experience that wish to gain valuable experience and continue to develop their expertise, while maintaining a work-life balance only available in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Completion of collaborative family law training is an asset. Experience with document management software is an asset.
Compensation:

Qualifications and Skills:
This opportunity is most suited for law clerks with 3 to 5 years of experience that want to gain valuable experience and continue to develop their expertise, while maintaining a work-life balance only available in the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Members of our team must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized with a high attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Experience with document management software is an asset.
Compensation:
Salary range is $50,000 – $60,000. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and/or ability. Group benefits and retirement savings plans are available.
