We are a full service law firm offering expertise in civil litigation, personal injury law, family law, real estate, employment, business and corporate transactions, estate planning and administration.

Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated lawyer eager to join a fast paced and busy law firm, focusing primarily in the area of family law, serving Lindsay, Peterborough and surrounding areas.
We offer one of the largest and most accomplished litigation and dispute resolution teams in the area. We act for clients in virtually every kind of family law dispute, including:
• family law litigation (custody, access, property, support, special claims)
• domestic contracts
• collaborative family law
• family law mediation/arbitration
Qualifications and Skills:
This opportunity is most suited for new lawyers that wish to gain valuable experience and continue to develop their expertise in the area of Family Law, while maintaining a work-life balance only available in the City of Kawartha Lakes. Completion of collaborative family law training is an asset.
Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and/or ability. Group benefits are available.

Qualifications and Skills:
Members of our team must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized with a high attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
The successful candidate will be proficient and skilled in litigation procedure, drafting and be knowledgeable about the Rules of Civil Procedure.
This opportunity is most suited for law clerks with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience. Working knowledge of document management software is an asset.
Compensation:
This is a contract position, covering a leave of absence from July, 2023 to July, 2024, with potential opportunity for extension.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and/or ability. Group benefits and pension plan are available.
