Amina received her Juris Doctor from University of Windsor Faculty of Law in 2022 and received an Honors Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Biology, and Cultural Anthropology from University of Toronto in 2017. Amina’s practice primarily focuses on all areas related to estates – planning, administration, and litigation.

During law school, Amina worked at Legal Assistance of Windsor and Hamilton Community Legal Clinic providing services primarily in landlord-tenant and social assistance matters. Following law school, she articled with the Ministry of Attorney General – Office of Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) where she developed her interest in estates and capacity law.  At the OPGT, she assisted counsel in managing a high-volume legal practice in real estate, trusts, estates, family, landlord-tenant, debtor-creditor, civil litigation and guardianship/mental health matters.

Amina is a third culture kid who grew up in eight different cities/towns across three countries who deeply enjoys involving in community engagement initiatives. Some of her experiences include chairing the largest non-levy collecting student group on campus, coordinating the youth volunteer’s council at the local long-term care home, leading refugee resettlement work, serving on national leadership team for a youth-led charity campaign, and sitting on university governance bodies. She is the recipient of Rotary International Youth Leadership Awards and Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award.
