CALLED TO THE BAR: 2024
TEAM MEMBER SINCE: 2024

Golda began her legal career in the developmental services sector, where she assisted folks with disabilities and their families, as well as not for profits and charities. She is now an associate at WARDS LAWYERS PC practicing primarily in Family Law where she advises clients on a variety of issues.

Golda received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. Her extracurricular pursuits during law school reflect her commitment to supporting individuals going through difficult times within the legal system as well as her interest in the academic and research-focused side of her career. During her final year at Osgoode, Golda was a Caseworker at Parkdale Community Legal Services, where she supported low-income individuals in the Social Assistance, Violence & Health Division. To connect with and support other women in the legal profession, Golda held positions as a mentor and executive for the Osgoode Feminist Collective. To build her research and advocacy skills, Golda acted as the legal researcher for Osgoode’s Gale Cup moot team, which appeared as a finalist before the Supreme Court of Canada. She was also an editor for TheCourt.ca, a publication providing commentary and analysis for decisions from the Supreme Court of Canada.

Before pursuing her law degree, Golda worked in the marketing and business development department of a large Bay Street law firm and managed a winning municipal election campaign in Brock Township. She received her Honours Bachelor of Arts (High Distinction) in English, Political Science, and Book & Media Studies from the University of Toronto in 2018.

When she’s out of the office, Golda loves to spend time with her family and her dog, Obie, enjoying nature, and reading.
