ISABEL UJA

Lawyer

CALLED TO THE BAR: 2024 (Ontario)
TEAM MEMBER SINCE: 2024

Isabel is an internationally trained lawyer with a multijurisdictional background. She has a robust educational foundation, including degrees in law and business, complemented by a range of certifications and memberships in professional associations from the USA, United Kingdom, and Canada.

She has served internationally in roles such as corporate secretary, chief compliance officer, head of legal, and general counsel for public companies with subsidiaries in Europe and Africa.

Isabel’s experience of migrating to a new country and requalifying as a lawyer in Canada gave her a deep understanding of the personal challenges clients may face while navigating new territories.

After requalifying to practice law in Canada, Isabel changed her practice focus to use her legal skills where she could best help people in need of legal services in the private practice of law. Her decision to transition to private practice arose from her personal experience with the legal profession and her desire to give back.

Her approach is friendly, empathic in the delivery of legal services and seeking what is best for her clients.

She is passionate about empowering women, enjoys watching movies (with popcorn!)  and spending time with friends and family.
