WHY I WORK
AT WARDS LAWYERS
I had no idea what to expect when I moved across the country to join the team at WARDS LAWYERSPC. Lawyers and staff in all departments have taken the time to offer me their guidance and mentorship throughout my articles. I am privileged to begin my legal career in an environment that fosters growth and continuous learning. I leave the office every day feeling extremely fulfilled by the work we do here at WARDS LAWYERSPC.
More about Reilly
Memorable Moment
Have you ever been overdressed? I certainly was on my first day at WARDS LAWYERSPC. I was very excited to wear the brand-new suit my fiancé had gifted to me for graduating law school. However, I was completely unaware that the dress code had been relaxed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Melissa was kind enough to make light of the situation and said, “well, it’s a great first day outfit.”
A Message From Reilly
As a new resident of Kawartha Lakes, I am more than thrilled to learn the lay of the land and to become an active member of the community. Growing up in a small farm town in Southwestern Ontario allows me to understand the importance of being connected and involved. Working closely with Ryan and Karissa has been a great way for me to learn how to practice law with a community-minded approach.
I am currently an articling student at WARDS LAWYERSPC. There is an argument to be made that I have learned more in my time here through practical experience than during my time at law school. While I have gained exposure in many areas of law, my primary focus is real estate. At WARDS LAWYERSPC, my desk has become my new classroom and I could not be more excited to continue learning.
