Why I work at WARDS LAWYERS ^PC

Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to work a few different firms both in Toronto and the City of Kawartha Lakes.  After staying home to raise my two amazing children for a few years, I decided it was time to leap back into the workforce.  I joined WARDS LAWYERS ^PC in the spring of 2016 and I am happy to report that WARDS LAWYERS ^PC is my most treasured job to date.  I love the cutting-edge vibe that flows through the people and technology at this firm.   Everyday I seem to gather more invaluable knowledge from our group of experienced lawyers and clerks.  My main task is to assist our senior law clerk, Melissa Morrison on Ryan, Anna and Jason’s Family Law Files.   Meeting, interacting and helping our clients always feels rewarding.

Memorable Moment

My first day at WARDS LAWYERS ^PC…. I was given the tour of the Firm and  instantly fell in love with the fully stocked kitchen….snacks, coffee, tea, assortment of carbonated beverages. Sweet deal!

Community Involvement

• Volunteer at Dunsford District Elementary School reading children and helping children learn to read
• Volunteer with the Bobcaygeon Figure Skating Club
• Council Member - Dunsford District Elementary School Parent/Teach Council 2013 – Present

Notables

• Meeting my husband

• Travelling To Australia, Thailand, Laos Ireland, England, Wales, Scotland, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Netherlands ……..bicycling for 4 months throughout Portugal, Spain and Morocco and still being alive to tell of it.

I joined WARDS LAWYERS ^PC as a family law clerk in the spring of 2016.  I love my job as it really is rewarding to help our clients. I work closely with our senior family law clerk, Melissa Morrison in assisting Jason and Ryan. Our Family Law team is beyond compare.
