Why I work at WARDS LAWYERS ^PC

Opportunities to have a positive impact on others and in my community is what makes me happy, and at WARDS LAWYERS ^PC I am able to do just that! I work with the most wonderful group of people who are brilliant, caring, hard-working, and hilarious (this list could go on!) - they truly make my days brighter. I am always learning, I feel supported, challenged, and appreciated and for that, I am grateful to work at this Firm.

Memorable Moment

It was a week after I started working for WARDS LAWYERS ^PC, when I was told we had an upcoming Firm event. I was brand new, had no idea what that entailed, or if I would even be invited after only having worked a week. I remember being told that regardless of how long I've been there, that I was part of the team and that it was an opportunity for everyone to do something fun outside of work and get to know each other better.

All I can say is that I am so very lucky to be part of this team!

A message from Broghan

I am a local and have grown up in the Kawartha Lakes area. I completed my Juris Doctor at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia. I'm a firm believer that travelling is one of the only things you can buy that makes you richer, and I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to carry out my dream of graduating law school and to experience a beautiful country at the same time.

I am currently an Articling Student at WARDS LAWYERS ^PC. I work very closely with Karissa, as well as working on files with other lawyers and clerks at the Firm. I have gained exposure and practical experience in many areas of law. However, my primary focus is in Business, Corporate, Real Estate, and Estate Planning.
