Collaborative Family Law

Why I work at WARDS LAWYERS PC

Working at WARDS LAWYERS PC allows me to focus on and develop my expertise in the area of family law. Family law is an extremely dynamic area of law, one which often involves property, estate, and corporate issues. I am extremely fortunate to work alongside the exceptional team at WARDS LAWYERS PC, who offer me invaluable support and creative perspectives when these issues (inevitably) arise.

While litigation is required in many situations, I am deeply passionate about alternative dispute resolution and the many approaches that are available to address family law issues. Working at WARDS LAWYERS PC provides me with a balance of both practices, which is crucial in order to remain effective and knowledgeable about the Courts evolving approach to various issues while also implementing a resolution focused approach.

I am looking forward to seeing how my practice, and WARDS LAWYERS PC, continues to grow in the future.

Memorable Moment

Only a short time after joining WARDS LAWYERS PC, I had the opportunity to volunteer in the WARDS LAWYERS PC Road Hockey Tournament. I knew the event would be large, but I could not have imagined how much the community came together to participate for the entire (and extremely hot, I might add) day.

A message from Amelia

After completing my undergraduate degree in Social Work, I knew I wanted to pursue family law. While this is undeniably a difficult practice area, I love coming to work because I know I will have the opportunity to serve families going through some of the most difficult situations they will ever face. It’s a constantly moving practice, and I’m thankful for the entire team at WARDS LAWYERS PC for making each day a success, however large or small.
